Equipment Fitment Specialist

Countryside Tank company is seeking a talented individual who can assist in final assembly of transport trailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow instructions closely, and the desire to learn new tasks under minimal supervision.


The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

  • Assemble items such as cage doors, valve box, manifold, emergency shutoffs, etc.
  • Apply stickers to hose tubes and reflector tape on the rear and sides of trailers
  • Install placards, cage doors, pilot valve, lights, mud flaps, document holders, etc.
  • Run air lines, wires, brake lines, etc.
  • Clean metal shavings, work area, and the trailer upon completion
  • Touch-up paint, as needed
  • Capture quality images of finished product
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely


  • This position does not have direct supervisor responsibilities

  • High School diploma or the equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with hand and power tools
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (steel toed shoes, safety glasses, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate ideas effectively.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to measure accurately.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Ability to stand for long durations of time, climb, walk, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
